From the firebase remote config you can control the min_build_version and use it for the force upgrade when needed. Please bear in mind that it takes some time for App Store & Google Play store to distribute the newly released builds so wait a day before setting up a force upgrade.
Why should we force users to Upgrade our app to a specific update?
