Services

Overview

Services in Laravel are classes that handle specific tasks or operations, like fetching data or processing requests. They help keep the code organized by putting related functions into separate classes. This makes it easier to manage and reuse code throughout the application.

Services exists in Ecom API

In our Ecom API, Services are defined in the wham directory (outside Ecom-API). Each service within this directory handles a specific domain of the e-com system.

  • auth/: Contains Services related to authentication and user management.
  • content/: Includes Services for managing and retrieving content.
  • contracts-customers/: Services for handling customer contracts and related information.
  • delivery-method/: Services for different delivery methods and logistics.
  • catalog/: Services for product catalogs and related functionalities.
  • notification/: Services for handling notifications and messaging.
  • orders/: Services for managing orders, including order details and statuses.
  • payments/: Services for payment processing and transaction handling.
  • products/: Services related to product management, such as product details and inventory.
  • stock/: Services for stock management and availability tracking.
  • trolley/: Services for shopping cart or trolley functionalities.
  • users/: Services related to user profiles and management.
